Same 105 minutes. Same open air, heat, cold, and stillness. The main difference between our social and private hydrotherapy sessions is simply in who — or how many — you bring.
There’s a question we get asked more than almost any other before opening: What’s the difference between the social and private hydrotherapy circuits?
The honest answer has two parts. The first part is simpler than most people expect. The second part is the reason the question matters.
Let’s take them in order.
Both circuits run for 105 minutes. Both are fully open-air — no ceilings, no walls between you and the sky. Both follow the same self-directed rhythm: heat, cold, rest, and repeat at your own pace. Nobody is timing you. Nobody is moving you along. You go when you’re ready and linger when you’re not.
Both include a dry sauna — the heat house — cedar-lined and held between 80–90°C, where heat builds steadily, and the body warms from the inside out. It’s the kind of heat that sharpens rather than flattens. Clear air, no steam, just temperature doing its work with quiet precision.
The core sequence — warming in the heat house, cooling in the cold plunge, resting in the stillness lounge — is the same in both. The physiological benefits are the same. The fundamental ritual is the same.
What differs is everything built around that ritual.
The social hydrotherapy circuit is the fuller sensory experience. Alongside the core circuit elements, it includes three spaces exclusive to this experience — each one earning its place in the sequence.
the immersion shower is the threshold. With a single touch, three distinct shower sequences activate, shifting from enveloping heat through warm cascades into cool streams that sharpen the senses. It’s part transition, part ritual reset. We describe it as the moment your body understands it has arrived somewhere intentional.
the hammam room brings a quieter kind of heat. Tiled from floor to ceiling, it holds a steady, enveloping warmth rooted in centuries of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean bathing tradition. The air is soft and constant. The temperature asks nothing of you except to stay. It’s the kind of space that earns its reputation for dissolving the particular tension that other heat sources — however effective — can’t quite reach.
the exfoliation room is a sensory counterpoint to everything else. Finely milled salts and sea salts, infused with oils and botanicals, worked slowly across the skin. It’s tactile and grounding, leaving the body newly receptive to everything that follows. Post-scrub, the plunge hits differently.
In addition to the dry sauna shared by both circuits, the social experience also includes a wet sauna — the steam house — where Canadian cedar meets fine mist at around 45°C. Where the heat house sharpens, the steam house softens. The air is humid and enveloping, encouraging deep breathing and a different quality of release. Having both means guests can move between two distinct heat experiences, each pulling something different from the body, before meeting the cold.
The social circuit was designed with connection in mind, the kind that warms best when it’s unforced. Come with friends, a partner, or colleagues you actually like. The spaces accommodate shared experience without demanding it. Conversations drift into whispers or disappear entirely. Both are welcome.
"Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued." ~ Brené Brown
The private hydrotherapy circuit trades breadth for seclusion. The circuit is reserved entirely for you. No overlap, no other guests, no glances. The rhythm is the same; the atmosphere is entirely different.
It includes one element exclusive to this experience: the thermae stone, a heated rock chair carved to hold you and designed to make the rest phase feel like something you’d stay in considerably longer than planned. Heated stone has a particular quality that warm water and cedar can’t replicate: it grounds the body rather than suspending it. The warmth comes up from beneath. Muscles that forgot how to release remember.
The private circuit is for solo visits where the only conversation you want is with your own nervous system. It’s for two people who don’t need to fill the silence. It’s for the kind of reset that requires, above everything else, the simple knowledge that no one else is around.
"Silence is not the absence of something, but the presence of everything." ~ Gordon Hempton
Here’s the framework we’d offer, stripped back to its core:
| Duration | 105 minutes | 105 minutes |
| Setting | Open-air, outdoor | Open-air, outdoor, fully secluded |
| Circuit | Hot, cold, rest, repeat | Hot, cold, rest, repeat |
| Exclusive Spaces | the immersion shower, hammam room, exfoliation room | the thermae stone (heated rock chair) |
| Best For | Groups, first visits, full sensory experience | Solo or paired, seclusion, deep reset |
Both circuits open this spring. The private circuit, in particular, has limited daily availability by design — exclusivity requires it. If a specific date matters to you, the priority list is the most reliable way to make sure you’re in it. Join the priority list by signing up below.
Same sky, same cold, same stillness waiting on the other side of the heat. The circuit will do what it does regardless of which door you walk through. The only real question is who you want beside you, or whether you want no one at all.
